Journal of Indian Research, which I edit is bringing out Special Issue on the Himalayas. We have excellent papers and intervention from great scholars like Glenn Mullin, George van Driem, and contributions from more than 10 Universities and research centres. I am still struggling with my piece on Textile as Text and its role as perissological resonator in the lives of Tibeto-Burman communities; Kang culture that is prevalent across Himalayan region and the resonance of lan...dscape in the textile patterns. The sad part is that inspite of my dare devil effort to get pieces from Paite-Kuki young scholars, I couldn't persuade them to write. Many of these young guys took my long interviews, many sought money to write, and few based in JNU on ad-ad hoc basis would switch off their mobiles. Hopefully, they will be happy to read the forthcoming issue Grace Hangzo Hauzel your suggestions for right scholars still awaited!
