Tonight I scanned some photos for an old friend, more than a friend really--my boyfriend as a teen and into my early 20's. He has had a wonderful life with a wonderful wife and fine children. I am delighted to say. This is us at a Military Ball at Rolla many, many years ago. I am wearing an old aqua prom dress, the bodice of which I have carefully stitched black and white prom lace from a pair of sleeves from my grandmother's cocktail dress. My little jacket was so cute-white and furry and I believe I had gardenias. Nice boy became a nice man.
