I'd been wanting to make some freezer meals to have around for the remainder of the pregnancy and when SC is born (to try and save some money from eating out so much), but had been wondering if it would be worth the effort. Tonight I put together 13 meals to freeze (that each serve 2-4 people)- and we spent less than $50 on the supplies (and most of that was spent on the approximately 12 pounds of chicken that was used). All we have to do now is stick it in a crockpot or baki...ng dish, add some pasta or rice (which I stock up on when it goes on sale), and we have a cheap and easy meal. Two of the cheap crock pot recipes are favorites of ours (chicken fajitas and asian chicken quesadillas) and two are new ones that looked yummy (I don't know how you can go wrong with chicken and cream of chicken soup). All in all, I maybe spent an hour putting them together (and that includes T running out to Target to grab forgotten ingredients). Yay! ‪#‎wifegoals‬ ‪#‎mommygoals‬ ‪#‎mealplanning‬ ‪#‎freezermeals‬
