Found cool photos from the Interdisciplinary MIcroelectronics Processing Laboratory. Not trying to show off/be funny here; I think these images are cool like a painting. These are various stages during the fabrication of a pMOSFET (basic repeating unit of computer chip). The blue one is me taking a picture of an ~3000 atom thin film of silicon oxide grown on a n-type Si chip. It's color (royal blue) depends on how thick the oxide is bc the film acts a diffraction grating, allowing only certain wavelenths of light to constructively interfere and then seen by a lense.
