I played in an Eagles tribute band called, "Hotel California". The drummer of that band told me that Kerry Lyvgren said to him, "You are the next drummer for Kansas". That was not to come. The story is that Kerry Lyvgren was playing some dust in the wind chords on his acoustic guitar while tuning up in the studio. This is the song that emerged from those simple chords. I've been told that I sound a lot like Steve Walsh on this. What a great compliment!
