Here's an update on our Class of 66 50th reunion plans:
Jim Magnanenzi and I have been putting this thing together for the past 2-3 months. Linda Prebonich (Pre's wife) is coordinating our classmate locating efforts by keeping the official class database, entering the contact data as it comes in - hopefully soon.
Early feedback from the classmates we were able to locate from the get-go indicated a strong preference for having a low-key, no-frills, private affair on Friday nig...ht the 16th of September -2016. Not knowing exactly how many folks, spouses, friends were going to actually attend, I met with the owner, Peter Gabriele of Domenico's and discussed the option he offered that we just make reservations for that evening instead of enduring the cost of a private room. Mags and I believe this will provide us with a good environment to have some drinks (cash bar), dine (they have a great buffet and menu at a reasonable cost), and interact socially with our classmates, spouses, and friends. We plan to gather at the bar around 5:30-6 pm and then have dinner at 7 pm. Domenico's web site is at: https://sites.google.com/site/domenicosbeloit/ .
Regarding the date and the weekend chosen, we opted for that weekend because Beloit Memorial High School is planning their 50th reunion that same weekend and this would give you an opportunity to hook up with friends from BMHS while they were in town.

I don't want to be sappy here, but after all these years, I would hope that our 50th would mean as much to YOU as it does to ME and that you make serious plans now to attend. Let's be realistic, at our age, it might be the last time we have the chance to get together.
