i wanna hold your hand chords
When I was a kid, there was always a lot of music going on, but there really wasn’t any good music going on. Sure, my mom had tons of records, but being that so many of them were the Eagles, the Oak Ridge Boys, or John Denver, there really wasn’t much of a selection. Besides, my mom was not too keen on me playing records, especially if she was not around to dictate. She was weird about technology, not to mention I was supposed to be doing chores rather than fooling around.... She would often take the electric i wanna hold your hand chords to things like the TV or Stereo with her when she would go shop for the day. This didn’t matter much to my sisters and me—the chord to the food mixer would usually do the trick. Even though most of the records my mom had were pretty awful, all records are fascinating, and a pile of them across the floor begs to be flipped through. So I was flipping through them one day and found “Meet The Beatles!” It may be the single most amazing discovery of my life. Often when my mom would leave, I would run upstairs and grab this record. I would attach the mixer chord to the stereo/record player, and then I would play the record nonstop, all the while jumping on the couch with a tennis racket pretending to be whatever Beatle was singing. It took the longest time for me to break away from listening to only The Beatles. Years later I totally got into all kinds of music, including punk, alternative rock, and post-alternative rock. And I have always loved everything Vaden Todd Lewis has done. The Toadies and Burden Brothers have given me some of my most cherished musical experiences. So Vaden, with all that as a backdrop, I absolutely LOVE this.
