Today we're sending birthday wishes to Dame Shirley Bassey! Shirley's show business career began at sixteen when she joined a touring musical revue based on the life of Al Jolson. She quickly gained acclaim as a solo performer. Her performances of Songbook tunes, including "Stormy Weather", "Climb Ev'ry Mountain", and "I'll Get By (As long prom As I Have You)" have been celebrated throughout her career.
