I've seen people get married for financial security and what a joke the marriage jokes is (because you're basically an exclusive prostitute). The idea of being married for the kids is a ticking time bomb. Getting married because people think it's time is the wrong thing to do. There is too much pressure on already stressed families to fit the norm and such stress could lead to the demise of an otherwise stable family. We will never please everyone. Ideal marriage is not always achieved, nor is it necessary to be happy. 🍷
