I get very bored with the painful repetition in contemporary worship songs where one phrase is repeated over and over until I (and looking around at many others in the service looking equally as bored) switch off. I was at a service last year where a song that had four mighty to save chords and three lines of words went on for just over 6 minutes. One line of words was repeated 33 times during the agonising 6 minutes.
