Smoking update: We decided our first smoking adventure would be with a beef smoked brisket. Farm Fresh (Just for you Wayne) had a nice cut so we got it from there. Russ used the "Big Bad Beef Rub" from amazingribs.com. It was delicious! Beware it is spicy. To offset the heat, I made a dipping sauce using vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, maple syrup, and pineapple which provided just enough sweet to offset the heat. haha Today we are going to smoke some salmon.
