waiting on the world to change chords

A video of some simple ideas on chord embellishments for a tune - waiting on the world to change chords On The World To Change by John Mayer.

Few reasons why it's cool to use this technique and when to execute:

1. Being in a band with one guitar player(you). This will add "colours" to the chord as well as the tune as long as the bass player is covering the main lines... Imagine Hendrix.

...

2. A band with 2 guitar players. You don't want to play the same chord voicings as the other player right? Especially when the other guy or gal guitarist is playing the main chords(perhaps on downbeats? I'm sure you can find ways to fit it)

3. A band without 2nd guitar player but a pianist/keyboardist. This will be awesome for sure!!!

4. Just you and a singer...perhaps.

Maybe there are some other reasons I didn't list it down here but you get the idea smile emoticon so do check the video out if you have the time.
